Having personally experienced loss of a loved one in a number of tragic circumstances, I can truly empathise and understand that this is probably one of the worst times in your life. The loss of your loved one can be a very stressful and emotional time.
My role as a celebrant is to refocus that sadness and turmoil of losing your loved one, and turn those special memories into a real celebration of their life. my services offer an opportunity to reflect on the good times and find comfort in the sharing of stories, poems and music to reflect on the importance of that person's life and their individual personality.
A lot of celebrants say they offer a fully bespoke service but often that can mean that they still work to a set format. I can assure you that with me as your celebrant the creative process if fully directed by you, and the service will be written entirely with your loved one in mind. If you want to challenge the norms then I'm with you all the way, a Christmas jumper in July to a rendition of 'Aga do' on the way out - your wish is my command!
My online feedback speaks volumes about my character, I will patiently support and care for your family through this sad time and ensure the utmost respect and professionalism whilst offering a deeply personal alternative to traditional formats.
If needed, I can advise you on a local funeral director who will visit to discuss your individual requirements and arrange a date for the ceremony – alternatively you can choose your funeral director yourself, and you can let them know that you’ve chosen me as your celebrant. As soon as the date has been confirmed, they’ll contact me to make the necessary arrangements.
Once the celebration of life tribute has been drafted, you and your family will have the opportunity to go through the ceremony, ensuring that you’re fully aware of what will be said and the order of the day.
On the day, I will meet you, your family and loves ones at the crematorium or chosen resting place. You'll also receive a commemorative keepsake copy of the service to keep memories close to your heart.
Fees
My fees for funeral services and memorial services in the northwest are typically £206 per service depending on travelling distance
As a funeral celebrant there is nothing I like more than a family coming to me saying their loved one wanted something different - they didn't want a sad affair they want the end of their life to be a time where people reflect, laugh and celebrate a life well lived.
If you are looking for ideas on how to make the most of a memorial service or a scattering of ashes please contact me to discus individual requirements.
I am also an agent for remembrance fireworks made from your loved ones ashes. If your loved one wanted to go out with a bang what better way to scatter their ashes in a beautiful firework display.
Pets are regarded as family members and it’s normal to grieve for them as such - they accept and love us unconditionally and never pass judgment. We need to let our feelings of grief play out and creating a memorial service or funeral helps us to properly deal with our loss whilst at the same time giving us the opportunity to celebrate their life.
We’ll put together a meaningful tribute and deliver a loving memorial service in your home or chosen location. This will include your pet’s life and can include, prayers, poems, and music.
Fees
My fees range for pet funerals and blessings in the northwest typically range from £100 - £150, depending on your location
